POLYESTER FILM MAKING PLANT & WAREHOUSE
for Penfibre Sdn Bhd (A member of the Toray Group)

Construction of a Polyester Film Making Plant & Warehouse and other Ancillary Works on an existing industrial facility consisting of :-

· 3,300 Piling points, up to 36 meter depth into marine clay displacing almost 16,000 cubic meters of earth in 3 months..

· Main Building Works and Substructure Works of RC pits to a depth of 5.0 meters. In total, approximately 30,000 cubic meter of concrete was casted utilizing 75,000 square meters of Formwork.

· Structural Steelworks of approximately 2,000 tonnes of fabricated steel.

· Architectural Finishes including roof area of 23,000 square meters, all double skin. And clean room facilities.

· Ancillary Buildings and External Works

The highlight of this project was the commissioning of the equipment on time given the tight construction schedule and the management of construction works in a tight construction site.
