West Fertilizer Terminal

FERTILIZER WAREHOUSE FACILITY for West Fertilizer Terminal Sdn Bhd (A joint Venture company between Barber International and Norsk Hydro, Norway)

 

Construction of a Fertilizer Warehouse Facility (Thumbnails) and other Ancillary Works consisting of:  -
 

·          Supply and drive 1900Piling points, between 36m and 45m deep, and each pile point having 24m length of 6mm thick bituminous slip coating, from the ground level.  All piles were driven to set.

·          Main Building Works, which included 9 nos. of 50 meters long 12 meters high RC walls, a 90 meters long x 8 meters high external RC wall and 900mm & 500mm thick floor slabs. In total, approximately 16,000 cubic meters of concrete was caste.

·          Structural Steelworks of approximately 1,000 tones of fabricated steel.

·          Ancillary Buildings, External works and M&E Services consisting of Electrical, Plumbing, Sewerage, Fire Protection and Air Conditioning / Mechanical Ventilation.

·          Contact is valued at RM 28 million.
